Free Wine Barrels
If you need some free wine barrels for your home winemaking efforts, jump a jet to England to pick up some loot. Not sure whether the barrels are light or heavy toast, but beggars can't be choosers.
Seems that the barrels were headed to South Africa until they took a wrong turn on the beach. I guess we will be drinking a lot of un-oaked Chardonnay next year!

I suspect the barrels came from a container ship that was beached to avoid sinking. All sorts of stuff came ashore including BMW motorcycles.
Customs and Excise put out a tale that everything was contaminated to try to stop people helping themselves. Judging by the picture they didn't succeed. What a shame!!!
